Edeswell Cottages are perfectly located in 23 acres of beautiful countryside in the heart of South Devon. This part of Devon remains truly unspoilt, with spectacular, uninterrupted views across the soft rolling hills and surrounding areas of outstanding natural beauty, it remains one of England’s most sought after holiday destinations.

Swimming Pool

Edeswell also offers a large indoor heated swimming pool with showers and changing rooms, where you can swim as often as you want, within the pool opening times.

The pool is set to 27 degrees celcius, which is a couple of degrees lower than a public swimming pool.  However in sunny weather our Solar heating will lift it to about 30 degrees!

Over the winter months the swimming pool may not be accessible due to requirements for solar heating.  It may be advisable to contact us to confirm opening times or availability.

The Grounds

Relax and enjoy a quiet stroll weaving across the meadows, alongside our little stream and explore the private woods. Two new areas of woodland have been planted recently. A beautiful large six-acre native woodland, where you can exercise your dog off the lead, has broad pathways and is a natural haven for wildlife, fauna and flora.

The second woodland consists of trees of historical interest. It features an avenue of English Limes and Hornbeam, which lead all the way down to the fishing lakes on our neighbour’s farm.
